The Jackson County Development Authority offers two training grants with goals of attracting new enterprises to West Virginia and encouraging growth and the expansion of West Virginia businesses and companies. The Governors Guaranteed Workforce (GGWFP) and Workforce Investment (WIA) provide training and technical assistance to support effective employee training strategies, ease individual access to training tools needed to manage careers and to support businesses in finding skilled workers to manage, compete and succeed in today’s business world.
