Jackson County Development Authority news and updates
• Four Jackson County businesses were honored for expanding their products to new countries;
1. Appalachian Distillery – Germany
2. Constellium Rolled Products – Malaysia, Vietnam
3. Mustang Sampling – Vietnam, South Korea
4. Niche Polymer – Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey
These companies were honored in a ceremony held at the state capital recently. They were given the Governor’s Commendation for International Market Entry Award. Governor Justice stated that as we export more West Virginia projects to the world, the world sees just how good West Virginia really is. These companies are our ambassadors, and we all should be so proud of their work and success.
Mark Whitley, Executive Director of the Jackson County Development Authority stated that most new investment in Jackson County are from international interest. We are blessed to have these successful companies in Jackson County.
